You’ve Got Enough
on Your Agenda.
Planning the company event shouldn’t become another full-time job.
Tell us what you’re putting together and your Crown event coordinator will help with the room, the menu, the timing, the guest count, and all the little details in between. You’re welcome an hour before your guests to set up whatever you’ve brought, and the room is yours for three hours after that.
When everyone arrives, your job is simple... join them.
You bring the people. We’ll make you look good.
Come as you are... we’ll treat you like royalty.

Whatever Brings the Team Together
We host companies from across Chester County, Delaware County, and the Main Line, for just about every reason a business has to put people in a room together.
- Client dinners
- Team lunches
- Holiday parties
- Retirement celebrations
- Networking events
- Company milestones
- Presentations
- Happy hours
Some occasions call for getting down to business. Others call for putting business aside.
We have a room for both.
Pick the Room. We’ll Handle the Rest.
From a private dinner with your best clients to a company-wide celebration, we have rooms for gatherings from a table of twelve up to two hundred. Choose the setting that fits your group... then let us help with everything that happens inside it.
We also have The High Tops, thirty beside the bar, for a team that would rather stand than sit. It makes a good first hour before dinner, and a good Thursday after work on its own.
One Person to Call.
A Lot Less to Worry About.
From your first inquiry to the day everyone walks through the door, your coordinator is here to keep things simple. She knows what fits in which room, what a group your size actually eats, and how long the afternoon really takes.
- Room
- Menu
- Timing
- Guest count
- Special requests
You handle the invite. We’ll handle the details.
Somebody Has Already Run Your Day
This is not a sample schedule. It is one company’s awards lunch in the Wine Cellar, in the order it happened, taken from the review its organizer left us afterward.
- 12:30
Doors, and the trays go round
Appetizers passed for the first half hour, while people arrive and find each other. Two drink tickets each, handed out by the manager on the night.
- 1:00
The bites move to the bar
What is left goes out on the bar, and the room turns into people talking rather than people waiting for the next thing to happen.

Lunch, off the buffet
Big Ben’s Carvery, carved beef and pork with cod and a pasta alongside, kept hot and topped up while the room goes back for more.

The awards
Both managers recognized in front of everybody, one from the office and one from the field. This is the part the afternoon was built around.

The dessert table is set
Put out after lunch, cream puffs among it. By her account they were the best thing on the table.
- 3:30
Out, on time
Three hours in the room, and the afternoon finished where it was meant to finish.
“There was a holiday playlist played throughout the event, and the lighting was soft dim.”
Yours will run differently. Tell your coordinator what has to happen and roughly when, and it is her job to make the afternoon land in that order.

Plenty of Teams Have Clocked In at The Crown
Every review below came from whoever organized the event rather than somebody who turned up to it. That is the job in front of you, so these are the ones worth reading.
“We had a company luncheon in the Library room at The Crown. The room was a perfect size for the group and very intimate with the tables for four. There was plenty of room to move and mingle. The buffet was opened in a timely manner and the food was delicious. Working with The Crown was such a positive experience and I look forward to our next event.”
“We held a client appreciation dinner, meal options were easy to understand, and the manager and staff made it very simple and easy. Pleased with the evening and will use The Crown for an event again.”
“The Crown hosted a retirement party for a fellow colleague. I had previously had lunch/drinks at the venue a few times over the last year. When I needed to vet a location close to work to accommodate our entire team, this was an easy choice. I emailed Zoe and our planning took off. It was an easy process that we handled via email. My questions and concerns were answered immediatly. We had to flex our arrival time and that was done with no issue. I selected the King's Banquet feast with hand carved beef and pork, wonderful cheese and crudité, pasta and veggies. Everyone enjoyed the food and left stuffed. I would recommend this location for any party. I hope to be able to use them again for a corporate function. 10 out of 10, would recommend!”
“This year we decided to have our Law Firm Holiday Lunch at the Crown Tavern. This venue checked all the boxes. The Library Room was decorated to perfection from the fixtures, books, décor, right down to the red nose on the deer above the fire place. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing!”
“We have returned here year after year to have our company holiday party and it never disappoints! The staff is very attentive and friendly, we didn't need anything additional which speaks to how well the event is run. The food is delicious and the Wine Cellar is such a beautiful event space, especially at Christmas.”
“Our office holiday party was held at The Crown Tavern Library banquet room. The ambience is perfect, and the service and staff were OUTSTANDING! Everyone raved about the food. We plan to return next year.”
“Booked our company holiday party in the Wine Cellar and the experience was fantastic! The staff was pleasant and helpful to take care of the guests at the bar and the food was served right on time and tasted delicious. Decorations around the room were great to set the feel of a holiday party and the seating was perfect for a mix of bar interactions and seating conversations. We will be back next year!”
“I booked our office Holiday lunch/dinner. We had an amazing time. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs and very accommodating for our gluten free staff member. The area was decorated beautifully for the holiday. Also, the food was amazing. Thank you!”
“We had our office holiday party in the wine cellar. It was very nice. The staff was great. Very attentive. The food was delicious, and the drinks were good. We would definitely consider having another event here next year.”

Easy for Everyone to Get Here.
Harder to Get Them to Leave.
We are straight down 202 in Glen Mills, which brings together guests from across Chester County, Delaware County, the Main Line, and Wilmington... with parking on site waiting when they arrive.
The mailing address says Glen Mills and the tavern itself sits in Concord Township, Delaware County, a few minutes from the Chester County line... which is where the Crown in Concord name comes from. A team driving in from West Chester or Exton gets here about as quickly as one coming from Media.

Corporate event questions
Can you accommodate a presentation or a meeting?
Yes. The Britannia Room seats thirty-two around a single table with a door that closes, which is the room we would give a board lunch or a client presentation. The Library seats sixty-five and the Wine Cellar ninety, both with room to present to the whole group.
What can you set up for awards, speeches, or a slideshow?
We can give you a microphone, put a presentation or a slideshow on a screen, and run your own audio over Bluetooth. Tell your coordinator what you are planning and roughly when it lands in the afternoon, and the room is ready before your team walks in.
How many guests can you accommodate?
From a table of twelve up to two hundred. The Britannia Room takes thirty-two seated, The Library sixty-five, and The Wine Cellar ninety seated or a hundred and thirty standing. Our Garden Bar and Patio is the largest at a hundred and twenty seated and two hundred standing, though it is outdoors, so we keep it for the warmer months.
Can we host a company happy hour?
You can. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 6, and Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 6, throughout the restaurant and out on the deck. If you would rather have your team somewhere private, we will build you a happy hour in one of the rooms instead, with passed bites and a bar package to match.
Is there a room fee?
No. No room fees, no linen fees, and no credit-card fees. You pay a per-person price for the menu and the bar package you choose, plus a 20% service charge, and a $100 deposit holds the date and comes off the final bill.
Can we set up a bar package?
Four ways, and they suit different budgets. A beer-and-wine bar keeps it to craft draught and house wines. An open bar is priced per person, per hour. A consumption bar is tallied by what your team actually drinks. A cash bar means everybody pays for their own. You can also hand each guest a drink ticket or two and run the rest as a cash bar.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Send them over with your final headcount and the kitchen builds around them, whether that is gluten, shellfish, vegetarian, or vegan. Tell your coordinator whose is whose as well... it is easier for the servers to look after a guest by name than to go looking for a raised hand mid-service.
Can we do a plated lunch or dinner instead of a buffet?
Yes, and for a client dinner it is usually the better call. Plated lunches run three courses, chosen ahead and served to the table, from twenty guests. Plated dinners run multi-course from twenty-five, with two entrées so your guests pick their own. Below those numbers, or for a room you want people moving around, a buffet or passed bites work better.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date in mind. Send us two or three that could work and we will come back with what is open, which room fits your headcount, and a per-person quote. December fills first and fills early. Nothing is held until you say yes and the deposit is in.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
Your event coordinator comes back to you with the rooms open on your date and what fits your group. You pick a room and a menu, she sends a quote, and the $100 deposit holds it. Most of it can be settled over email, and if your timings shift between now and the day, say so... they usually do.
